What To Wear To Sangeet For Americans

Soyuz, the Soviet pen

small pen collection is that of me with parts manufactured in places not too common around here. That is why I launched some time hunting for a Soyuz that I located on eBay .

know very little about this brand and have not able to find information about it on the Web I summarize the information I have:

  • The factory lived in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg.
  • In 1950 there was already a model, because it is one that I bought, if we rely on the dating that has given me the seller.
  • In 1967 manufacturing was still, as another piece I bought was from this date and thus recorded in the inscription that is engraved.

And here I come. I placed some pictures, first, the model 1950. It is made of plastic and metal cap. The quality of materials is not very good, especially the metal used in the cap.

The 1967 model is far more attractive and it works. The body of the pen seems to be made of a resin, while the cap is gold plated. I guess it would be one of the models of upper-middle range, especially if one considers the dedication that has recorded the piece and gave it to a certain Igor Nikolaevich by laboratory workers, I suppose that, during retirement of the individual. Here you have some pictures:

Anyway, if anyone knows more about this brand or on pens, coasters, would be happy to leave a comment.
