Whitehall Rowing &sail Used Boats For Sale

What type during the holidays? What pen

In previous post talked about the pen that I like to take when you travel. The problem is that these situations can be thought that there is no time to write. The constant hustle, the comings and goings, visits, fun, changing spaces, seems to become an insurmountable barrier between reality and writing.

However, I like to take a pen and writing libretilla no hurry to go no obligations a little diary of what I saw and what I think about what contemplando.

Writing can. Someone said the already hackneyed phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words", but it is also true that a thousand words or a hundred or a few dozen can be much more satisfactory in certain situations that an individual image that ends up losing his connection to the experience in the intricacies of memory.

Swollen Blood Blister Throat

took me away?

With the coming of summer appear also travel and doubt about the pen you should join us. In my case, I opted for the AL Kaweco Sport for the following reasons:
  • has a very lightweight and, although it may seem silly, there are times when it shows up more than a gram.
  • is very tiny, which is a problem to write at length, but an advantage when moving from here to there question.
  • Being made of aluminum, is very strong and holds up well the bumps and scratches.
  • Use standard load cartridges, avoiding the hassle of having to carry the ink and gives the confidence to find replacement ink in almost any place you travel.
  • The nib is mounting F with really fine line, a fact which makes this ideal Kaweco in a pen to write on small maps or note pads or napkins.
  • is also a fairly inexpensive pen (about 30 €), so that if lost or I'll slip up, suffering and economic loss is not too large, although the sentimental, of course.
Anyway, to travel, my wife, my daughters, my Moleskine and my Kaweco. And then I removed it bailao.

At What Temperature Does Copper Pipes Freeze

The book as a complement to the pen

The option for the pen is a writing option, as I understand it. And when one sets out to write "I do not mean to creative writing, but with this endorsement of what you see, what you think, what you remember, the small pocket book is indispensable. Not always find a role, and if you can find lost runs between the recesses of our pockets. The book, however, is always there, ready to receive our pen strokes scoring a phone, a phrase, a quotation, a scribble or a story. Everything is welcome.

There are people that will eventually make their books on the subject of art, wonder outputs from the hands of those who have something to say and the skills necessary to do so. That's what we found in the moleskine of John Ray, an artist Network sharing in their notes in notebooks that I think are wonderful. I leave the links to two of them:
More examples of wonderful books can be found on You Tube in Moleskineart or certain international exhibitions, such as that of London or the Hong Kong . As you can see, the whole world about the book in general and, specifically, the brand Moleskine in particular.

But the use of the book requires the use of a special pen. The line of it should be fine, very fine, so the letter is not larger and the ink does not protrude through the thin paper. I use to write in my Moleskines a Pelikan 215, a Kaweco Sport or Lamy Studio, all with fine nib. With other nibs I've tried (F Waterman and Faber Castell eMotion or Pelikan M) the result is not entirely satisfactory.

Dermatomyositis German Shepherd

The use of the stylus is contagious

For over two years I have been using the pen daily. Before I had been won by the "dark side" and my writing was based on inexpensive roller, preferably Pilot, but I do not remember exactly why, one day I cleaned and loaded one of my old pens and I realized that the pleasure obtained using them can not be matched by any other instrument.

In these two years of my new life as a user of the pen I have realized that their use is extremely contagious. Friends, coworkers see you write with pen and immediately released to rummage through your drawers for airing his own. I know it's an easy joke, but I can not help thinking that you take the pen is how to "come out": you dare and others in similar circumstances to realize is as easy as deciding to take the plunge. We should coin, therefore, pen lovers a new phrase that we identify, something like "out of the box."

- Hey, how about you when you came out of the drawer?

- Uff.

- You had a hard time deciding? How did you get your decision? Why did you?

The fact is that in this my new stage of engagement with the pen I feel I have caught the virus to many people. Almost without realizing it, the room of my high school teachers is filled with pens and it is not uncommon to see a hand there wielding a Montegrappa, one that responds to the challenge with Edson and hands a number of spectators attending the show with his Parker 21, his or Pelikan Waterman. Even we have a day with a Montblanc 100 Years, of course, served as arbitrator of the dispute, given their rigorous black.

But the contagion has also reached some of the students that proudly displays the communion pen drawer also recovered as distinctive hallmark front of the huge and overwhelming majority of pens and rollers.

No doubt we will lose the battle, but the fight is presented. Lest anyone think that those addicted to the pen will surrender without resistance. We were able to get out of our box and we return to it without a battle.
